I’ve been taking too many things quite literally lately, and not thinking out of the box.
This is one of my favorite pictures that I took one lazy afternoon in Toulouse. I love how one (well OK, at least for me) can’t immediately tell where the sky stops and the water begins. However, for this challenge, I also needed to change the way I looked at my photos, to help me see things in a different light.
So there you have it. Not exactly the most twisted nor distorted of photos; but then again, not the usual way one would see things either.

It’s just so exciting to watch things grow and bloom :)
Speaking of gardens and blooms– B and I have been busy lately finding the right florist and venue stylist for our wedding. Hopefully we find someone who’s great to work with, understands (and will excitedly execute) our theme, and won’t make us break the bank!
I took this one as I came home one day, shortly after I’ve decided to take a radical sabbatical (career-wise). I remembered that a lot of things went wrong that day / week, but as I stepped out of the garage, I saw this. It was a beautiful reminder for me of promise and hope.
Our hearts and prayers go out to our dearest friends in Japan.
